What is enlightenment?

I asked this question of myself the other day and did not get an answer. Perhaps that's a good thing (smile). As I am always a little dstracted when I am writing, I tend to feel as though I am 'channelling' my muse and sometimes end up with what I feel is a reasonable approximation of something worth reading.
